Wolf Moon. This first full moon of the new year is a time of silence and sitting by the home fire. As the wild winter howls, appreciate the warmth of home and family. January is the month of the Full Wolf Moon. It appeared when wolves howled in hunger outside the villages. It is also known as the Old Moon. To some Native American tribes, this was the Snow Moon, but most applied that name to the next full Moon, in February. Happy Full M☼ ☼ n ♥
Full Moon names started with Native Americans as tribes kept track of the seasons by giving distinctive names to each recurring full Moon. The names actually applied to the entire month in which each occurred. There was some variation in the names based on tribes. European settlers followed that custom and created some of their own names.
Happy FULL MOON! <3
you caught me lingering in another girl’s paradise,
the way she paints the world -I want that in my life
emeralds, you should know,
are renting in her meadow
with a stroke beauty lives
how could I resist? you are desire
when it all is said said and done
who can love you and still be standing?
“you have come to discover what you want”
what i want is not to want what isn’t mine
“but i am desire” when it all is said and done.
is another girl
is another girl
is another girl’s paradise
